About

I have been playing violin for almost 30 years and have been teaching for at least 15. I hold my Masters Degree from Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA and my Bachelor from Glier Colledge of Music in Kiev, Ukraine. I was lucky to get the best education from both worlds. I am currently on a faculty of Powers School of Music in Belmont, MA , Winchester Community Music School in Winchester, MA and Merrimack Valley Music School in Andover, MA. I am active solo and chamber music performer, as well as orchestra musician, appearing with Boston Philharmonic and Symphony NH. In my teaching I enjoy working with all ages, use variety of materials, teaching note reading as well as playing by ear. I am following the pace and needs of every individual while paying close attention to proper technique. Among my students are members of such orchestras as BYSO and NEC Prep School orchestras of Boston as well as people who just enjoy music making.
